Osca initially started out by building racing cars, but in 1960 it started a small production of Gran Turismo cars with a 1600cc engine. For the bodywork they grappled with some of the most famous bodybuilders, such as Zagato, Touring, Boneschi, Fissore and Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. <\/p>\n<p>In 1960, Carrozzeria Touring had produced an Alfa Romeo 2000 Coup\u00e9 called Praho, which featured a concave rear window, the result of an aerodynamic study. This solution was also applied to the OSCA 1600, two units of which were built, the first of which was presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1961. Another technical feature of the OSCA 1600 is the spare wheel stowage behind the rear seat, which can be removed using a special pivoting arm support.<\/p>\n<p>Technical characteristics: 4-cylinder in-line engine; Displacement:1568.28 cc; Power: 95 hP; Top speed: 190 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>The second car on display is the OSCA Spider 1050, the only one, built in 1964 and exhibited at the Turin Motor Show that same year.
