He opted for a 275 GTB, at the time Ferrari&#8217;s most sporty and luxurious two-seater GT with bucket seats, made in stylish Night Grey and equipped with a speedometer in miles per hour, Borrani spoke wheel rims and headrests, complementing the interiors in VM 8500 black leather.<\/p>\n<p>The car, which was completed in March 1966 at the Maranello production plant, was registered to &#8220;Dino De Laurentiis Cinematografica&#8221;, as specified in the Certificate of Authenticity.<\/p>\n<p>The car, which dates back to late 1966, sports all the characteristics of other Long Nose classics with a two-cam engine. Other distinguishing features include the higher bumpers, the split tank on either side of the boot, the wider rear window and the hinges on the outside of the bonnet, covered by a chrome-finish shell.<\/p>\n<p>Clint Eastwood himself then decided to customise the car further. He commissioned George Barris to change its colour, opting for a dark but sleek, glossy green, with emerald reflections that are only apparent when the sun shines on the body of the vehicle.
