The product authenticity and brand vision Volvo currently proposes are true to the brand values while interpreting them with a modern twist.<\/p>\n<p>Volvo Car Italia is taking part in Auto Moto d&#8217;Epoca with the aim of showing how even the most sophisticated technological developments which distinguish latest-generation Volvo vehicles embrace the brand values which have made Volvo unique and recognisable over time, resulting in Volvo cars prove popular the world over.<\/p>\n<p>Volvo is displaying four models in its booth &#8211; two from the past and two from the present \/ future, namely <strong>prototypes of the VESC <\/strong>(Volvo Experimental Safety Car) from 1972 and <strong>ECC<\/strong> (Environmental Concept Car) from 1992, alongside the brand-new <strong>Volvo EX30<\/strong> and <strong>EX90<\/strong>, flagships of Volvo&#8217;s sophisticated vision and of the brand&#8217;s electric line-up.<\/p>\n<p>The interaction of these four cars demonstrates how the Volvos of today and of tomorrow share the very same Volvo DNA, albeit in a different way depending on the era.<\/p>\n<p>It is inevitable to draw a line connecting the ECC, which is made almost entirely of recycled material and driven by a hybrid gas turbine\/electric motor drive train, to the new Volvo EX30, which is all-electric and designed to generate the smallest CO<sub>2<\/sub> footprint of any Volvo.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the VESC equipped with safety systems such as the anti-lock braking system, front and rear seat airbags and roll-over protection system, sees its successor in the new EX90 when it comes to technology and innovative solutions capable of marking the beginning of a new era for Volvo safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Volvo returns to Auto Moto d&#8217;Epoca for the Exhibition&#8217;s 40th edition, which marks the celebrations by moving to Bologna, the city that has always hosted the Italian branch of the car maker.
