Born to run
In 2021, French brand Alpine attended the Padua fair with the new Alpine A110 S, celebrating the continuity of its most recognized and successful model.
Conceived in the mid 50s, the Alpine 110 featured fiberglass, but was small and did not have the most powerful engines; despite this, it was super light and fast, so much so that it became one of the best known "giant killers": a rally car which was small but managed to keep up with the much larger and more powerful models.
On the exhausting circuit of the MonteCarlo Rally, the A110 Alpine dominated at the time, and it continues to dominate in today's competitive reenactments.
The A110 has become the ultimate 'spokesvehicle' for the brand, so much so that the new Alpine A110 guided the brand's relaunch in 2017.
