Bentley joined the Padua show in 2015 with an exceptional SUV, the new Bentayga in a national preview. Bentayga set a challenge for designers right from the early stages as it didn’t simply involve building an SUV but redefining the concept of the SUV in order to comprise Bentley’s quality standards. Bentayga found its place among the brand’s historical cars immediately attracting visitors’ attention (at the show alone it sold 3), even if it represented a break with the tradition of the classic Bentley models. The British brand, which is positioned alongside Rolls Royce in terms of prestige and class, has succeeded in building an SUV that offers the philosophy of its positioning while allowing it to open a new market segment.
