On its stand at the 2015 show, BMW presented the new 3 Series just revealed in a world preview in Frankfurt.
At the side are all the 3 Series that have preceded it in 40 years of history. In fact, since 1975 the BMW 3 Series has been the quintessential sports saloon. The sixth generation combines a dynamic design with a distinctive sporty look and great practicality in everyday use. The classic rear-wheel drive, excellent weight distribution and petrol and diesel engines with BMW EfficientDynamics technology combine dynamism and reasonable fuel consumption. The M3 E30 Jägermeister version, used in the 1988 DTM championship, caught the attention of visitors to the show.
