BMW Motorrad participates with the Heritage family and a focus on the R 18 range

After the presentation of the new BMW R 18, BMW Motorrad now presents the second arrival in this new family of cruiser segment models: the R 18 Classic. The new BMW R 18 Classic is a tourer that refers to tradition echoing the first models of great touring cruisers. While the R 18 is purist in style, the R 18 Classic has a large windshield, a passenger seat, soft bags, additional LED headlights, and a 16-inch front wheel. With the new BMW R 18 Classic and BMW R 18, BMW Motorrad strongly recalls the tradition of BMW motorcycles that have made history.

These motorcycles refer to famous models such as the BMW R 5 from both a technological and visual point of view, shifting the focus onto the essential components of the motorcycle: a purist technology without frills, the boxer engine as the fulcrum of driving pleasure, along with "good vibrations."

The classic design of the R 18 Classic and R 18 models is combined with clean yet contemporary technology, giving life to a fascinating overall concept − offering a refined and emotional riding experience.

With the new R 18 Transcontinental, BMW Motorrad adds a Grand American Tourer and the R 18 B "Bagger," particularly popular in the United States, to the R 18 family. As with previous R 18 models, the new R 18 Transcontinental and R 18 B combine the exciting power of the "Big Boxer" with a classic frame concept that draws on historical models, exclusive equipment, and elegant design. This makes the R 18 Transcontinental ideal for American-style long-distance travel − both for solo riding and with a passenger and luggage. The R 18 B, on the other hand, is designed as a "rider's machine" that offers emotional riding pleasure and is ideal for touring and cruising.

A selection of accessories and technical and lifestyle clothing dedicated to the Heritage family will also be on display.
