CITROËN.

YELLOW SUN, YELLOW CITROËN.

Creativity, lightness and a desire for adventure and fun are the Citroën values expressed through a blend of past and present with the new C4 Cactus alongside the only model in the world of the 2CV “Soleil” designed by the French artist Serge Gevin. The unique model displayed in Padua in 2015 was conceived in the 1980s. In yellow and white with sea blue fabric seats, it was inspired by the sun, the sea and the light-heartedness of holidays. Then it was built 30 years later in Italy based on a 1982 Due Cavalli [2CV] Club model. The 2CV represented an era and a lifestyle. In the 1970s and 1980s it was the car chosen by young people for their holidays due to its extreme versatility. The 2CV was made with an opening roof, the doors could be taken off, it had space for plenty of luggage, low fuel consumptions and it never broke down... The exploits of the adventurous young people who made it to the North Pole in a 2CV in the 1970s are famous.
