At the 2015 Auto e Moto d'Epoca show in 2015, DS Automobiles exhibited its flagship vehicle, the new DS 5, in the exceptional Hybrid 4x4 version, with the exclusive hybrid diesel-electric engine. Next to the new DS 5, two monuments of the history of the automobile are displayed: a DS23 Pallas made in 1974 and an extraordinary DS19 Décapotable made in 1961. Created in 2014, the French car brand can count on an exceptional legacy: the legendary DS 19 is an emblem of the values of innovation, excellence and cutting edge, the symbol of the top range French car. The model displayed on the DS Automobiles stand was “born” on 14 February 1961 and is therefore one of the very first DS production convertibles. Practically made by hand, the DS19 Décapotable could be ordered in a large number of colour combinations, by choosing the tone of the bodywork, leather upholstery and mats from a special catalogue.
