The Artura in Flux Green at Auto e Moto d'Epoca

The first high-performance hybrid supercar produced in series by McLaren.

A new generation supercar that combines revolutionary technology − it is the first model with the new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) at its core − with McLaren's dedication to pure driver involvement. The powertrain includes the brand-new 3.0 twin-turbo gasoline engine with electric motor and high-energy density battery, which produces combined powers of 680 PS (671 bhp) and 720 Nm (530 lb ft): 585 PS (577 bhp) − almost 200 horsepower per litre − and 585 Nm from the new V6 and 95 PS from the electric motor that delivers instant torque up to 225 Nm, ensuring the best throttle response ever from a McLaren supercar and fierce acceleration: 0-100km/h in 3.0 seconds; 0-200km/h in 8.3 seconds; and 0-300km/h in 21.5 seconds. The Artura has a curb weight, despite the hybrid technology, of 1,498kg.

The low front position, forward-shifted cabin, and high tail are typical of a pure supercar, the distinctive feature underlined by the trademark McLaren dihedral doors − which open closer to the body and house mirrors that fold more tightly − and further enhanced by the short wheelbase and low position. This agile and technical sculpture only has minimal body lines and panel joints, assisted by features such as a whole rear shell designed and superformed into a single panel. The Artura is aerodynamically sculpted to maximize performance and favour cooling while respecting McLaren's design principle of "everything for a reason". The driver can choose between four Powertrain modes, including an E mode for 31km (19 miles) of exclusively electric driving with zero emissions.
