In 2018, Volvo focused its participation on the heritage aspect of the family car, a type of vehicle which – in fact – the Swedish manufacturer defined while at the same time making history. Padua paid host to the predecessor 445 Duett and the first real family car, the Amazon, through to the last step in an evolution spanning multiple decades: the new V60, the model that fully embraces the heritage of large cars heralding functionality and versatility. The new V60 introduces a new standard of reference into the segment of luxury medium-sized station wagons thanks to its carefully thought-out and spacious interiors and to an advanced level of connectivity, to which can be added the most innovative driving support systems and other security-preserving technologies. Alongside it, a V90 twin engine, a rechargeable plug-in hybrid that testifies how, from 2019, all Volvo models will be mild hybrid, plug-in hybrids or electric only.
