"Cars are designed and built to cover distances and the Automotoclub Storico Italiano commits to making this possible, while being fully aware of and honouring the complex issues connected to environmental protection and, particularly, the modern challenges that mobility needs to face". These are the words of ASI on the occasion of the launch of the Italian edition of "Guida FIVA for the responsible use of historic vehicles on roads today", scheduled for Saturday 24th October at Auto e Moto d'Epoca alongside FIVA President Tiddo Bresters.

Padua Fair will also be an opportunity to publicly showcase the acquisition and exhibit the most important of the 71 items of the precious Pesaro Mordibelli Collection; this acquisition has prevented the loss of heritage that represents the evolution of motocycling from its origins to the 1950s.  ASI's guest at Auto e Moto d'Epoca is Pier Paolo Bianchi, Class 125 World Champion in 1975, 1976 and 1977 riding Morbidelli motorbikes.

ASI will also pay homage in Padua to Aldo Brovarone, who passed away on 12th October at the age of 94. He was Pininfarina's creative mind from 1952 to 1988 and author of the most iconic models of the past century. A celebratory conference will be taking place on 23rd October at the company's stand; Paolo Pininfarina will take part alongside designers who shared the drawing tables with the unforgettable Brovarone.

Lastly, there will be a presentation of two books dedicated to two "modern" icons of the Italian car industry: the Fiat Panda and Lancia Delta Group A, a rallying world champion. Also in attendance is the pilot whose name has been tied to the racing Delta more than anybody else: Miki Biasion.
