In 2023, the Auto e Moto d'Epoca exhibition is changing its venue, celebrating its 40th edition and doubling the amount of exhibition space in its new home at BolognaFiere.

"We are ready to achieve this industry's full potential", says  organiser, Mario Carlo Baccaglini. "Classic cars celebrate the excellence of Italy: Italian heritage recognised by millions of enthusiasts around the world. They combine design, passion, history, and economy".

Two achievements in one for a Italian exhibition dedicated to cars and motorbikes: the 2023 edition of Auto e Moto d'Epoca will be the 40th edition of the exhibition and the first to take place in the exhibition space in Bologna. 2023 marks the move from Padua to Bologna.

BolognaFiere is making 235,000 square metres available to celebrate the Classic car world: 11 pavilions with 3 access points, and 14,500 total covered parking spaces.

Mario Carlo Baccaglini says that "in the new spaces, it will be possible to see all the historic cars and motorbikes: a horizon which brings together millions of enthusiasts all over of Europe."

And we open up to Europe with this move to BolognaFiere: Bologna's exhibition hub benefits  from spaces and transport links that will allow to create a privileged channel between European enthusiasts and exhibitors and the Italian market. To this end, the organisers have just come back from the prestigious Rétromobile in Paris and there are other European events on the calendar to meet international dealers and enthusiasts.

"Over the last 40 years, Auto e Moto d'Epoca has attracted visitors from over 46 countries around the world, becominɡ one of the best-recoɡnised events on the international calendar and the most important market of historic cars in Europe", says Baccaglini.

Classic cars are of one Italy's gems and AME's new 'home' in BolognaFiere will allow them to take maximum advantage of their potential by attracting visitors, exhibitors and purchasers from all over the world in numbers that could not logistically be reached before. The success of the first Open Day which took place in the exhibition district is proof of this: 400 exhibitors took part, including many from abroad. All the Classic sectors will be represented: 12 categories* which showcase the wealth, complexity and beauty of Heritage passion.

"The 40th edition is not just an achievement worth celebrating; it's also a new, exciting beginning, a turning point that allows the Italian Classic market to achieve its full potential within the setting of BolognaFiere".
