The new R 18 BMW and R 18 Classic are strongly inspired by traditional BMW motorbikes, which made history both technically and visually. These bikes convey the iconic style of past times drawing inspiration from renowned models, such as the BMW R5, concentrating on key features of motorbikes: a no-frills purist technology, a boxer engine which makes riding the epic experience that it is, and "good vibrations".

And that's not all! the R 18 family has expanded with yet another two new members: the BMW R 18 B and the R 18 Transcontinental.

Like for the previous R 18 models, the new R 18 Transcontinental and the R 18 B combine the exciting power of the "Big Boxer" with the concept of a classic frame that draws its inspiration from historic models, exclusive outfitting and an elegant design: the R 18 Transcontinental is ideal for American-style long distance trips while the R 18 B is designed as a "rider's machine", which offers the pleasure of an exciting ride and it is ideal for touring and cruising.
