Visitors to the 40th edition of Auto e Moto d'Epoca, which will be held for the first time at BolognaFiere in 2023, will have the opportunity to admire the unique creations of Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera and appreciate the work carried out by the company in preserving and enhancing the Italian brand's automotive heritage: sporty elegance, craftsmanship, meticulously balanced proportions and pure functionality, perfectly executed.
The Superleggera construction system used aeronautical technology to produce a tubular chassis with very low weight. After the debut in the Mille Miglia 1937, when the Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 L Mille Miglia – the first to have a chassis based on the new method – won first place in its category and fourth place overall, the Superleggera method has become one of the leading brands in the world of sports and Gentleman drivers, creating many of what are considered the most beautiful cars ever.
The models that you can admire up close at BolognaFiere include the BMW 507, a classic sports car that has left an indelible mark on the history of the automobile. The BMW 507 was one of the first mass-produced cars and the result of a successful collaboration between Touring Superleggera and a major car manufacturer.
We will also find one of the very recent models of Touring Bellagio, the station wagon that was born in 2008, but is still current and continues to be in great demand. Touring Superleggera produces it with utmost success and is expanding its customization possibilities even further.
Finally, there will be a preview of an Arese RH95 in the 2024 version, where you can observe the high level achieved in the field of car customization and in the pursuit for colour and materials.
