CONVERTIBLES: THE PAST ALWAYS HAS A FUTURE

Cabriolets, spiders and convertibles: many names to describe the oldest type of car there is; that is, cars with fold down roofs accessorised with a canvas cover to protect from adverse weather conditions.

Cabriolets are the ultimate leisure car these days, and their original design meets the best outdoor driving experience in summer.

Convertibles are so original that they managed to reinvent themselves multiple times. In particular, the canvas roof made a comeback over the last 20 years, substituting many rigid retractable roofs and becoming a feature not only of luxury cars, but also a range of models at affordable prices. This revolution began around the year 2000; however, the traditional canvas roof has not been retired; on the contrary, it's en vogue once again, thanks also to the incentive towards reducing weight and consumptions and the insatiable desire to drive with the wind in your hair.

It therefore comes as no surprise that, given their beauty, convertibles represent an important part of car-racing heritage. And at Auto e Moto d'Epoca, you're spoilt for choice.
