The Perugia Auto e Moto d’Epoca Club will be dedicating its presence at the Padua Exhibition to the 31st historical re-enactment of the Perugia Cup, which the club is organising from 3rd to 5th May 2019.
During the 1920s, the Perugia Cup was an international motor race, created and much desired by Giovanni Buitoni, the then patron of the confectionery business “La Perugina”. Today, this is a commemoration event, reserved for historical cars produced up until 1965. It takes place in Umbria across three days, dedicated to discovering this region which is famous for being Italy’s “Green Heart”. Up to 100 historical cars can register for the event, 20 of which can be open top, produced up until 1930.
