There is a breath of fresh air blowing through the community of historic vehicles, ranging from embracing new technologies to young people joining the world of collecting. Previous editions of Auto e Moto d’Epoca demonstrated the latter trend, with the steady growth of progressively ‘younger’ visitors (and models). This year the exhibition is to be held at BolognaFiere, from 26th to 29th October, and will be dedicated to this trend as well as to many other interesting topics for the world of classic vehicles.
FIVA – the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (English: international federation of ancient vehicles) – is the international body which promotes and guides the interests of the historic vehicle movement across the world. It includes member organisations in 80 countries, which in turn represent more than one million enthusiasts and collectors world-wide.
The partnership between FIVA and Auto e Moto d'Epoca is also continuing this year with the FIVA Heritage Workshop, one of the most important events in the calendar of top car manufacturers. This underlines the profound bond between the past and the future of the automotive industry and the transfer of values and innovation culture from classic vehicles to new models coming to market.
