There is a truly impressive car coming to the Gulfblue.it stand at Auto e Moto d'Epoca: the 5th model of the last De Tomaso to ever be produced, the Mangusta (which then became Qvale) will be on show. This model appeared in a rare De Tomaso brochure and it features many differences compared to the subsequent models produced by the company that succeeded De Tomaso. Next to it, a prototype of the Mangusta coupé will also be exhibited; it was showcased by Qvale at the Geneva Salon in 2000, where Marcello Gandini's original lines were revisited in the front, tail and wing.
Another beautiful vehicle will be one of the only 65 Lotus Elise Motorsports in existence, a model that dates back to 2000 and preceded the Exige, conceived to race for the mono-brand trophy and subsequently used in GT competitions. At its side, one of its predecessors: a 1961 Lotus Elite, created for historic competitions.
Another exceptional vehicle is the 1991 Mercedes 190 EVO2, the road version of the DTM queen of the golden years; 500 models were produced and this car was nicknamed "Batman's" car, given its distinctive aero-dynamic appendices which were essential in turismo racing at the time.
But that's not all. We invite you to explore the rest at the event in Padua from 22nd to 25th October in Pavilion 14!
