One of the objectives of Auto e Moto d'Epoca is to preserve the universal heritage of motoring, which it fully succeeds in doing with The World of Classics exhibition path. Clubs and historic registers, car manufacturers, bodies and associations, museums and collectors who share a passion for preserving motoring culture and history, engaging the visitor in a journey through time between past and future.
This year, The World of Classics will also be hosting Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club Italia, the Italian section of the English club that was established in December 1984 and this year celebrates its 40th anniversary. Today, with 90 national and international players, JEC is the largest Jaguar sports club in the world, boasting more than 14 thousand members.
The Italian region of the Club, which is chaired by Fabio Berardi, was established in 2020 thanks to the passion of a group of admirers and today counts approximately 150 fully-fledged members. Last year, at the National Gathering at the Monza racetrack, to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the Jaguar make and the Brianza track, 101 Jaguars of all ages from all over Europe met to celebrate this important anniversary. This success testifies to the dedication of the group that chose Auto e Moto d'Epoca as a showcase to promote the Club further.
What distinguishes the partnership is its inclusiveness vis-à-vis all Jaguar models, from 1931 to the present day. This approach reflects the philosophy of the English Club, where every Jaguar, whatever the model, is considered part of a large car family.
The Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club Italia will be presenting a car of particular significance in its booth at BolognaFiere, but for now the details remain a surprise.
