CONNOLLY'S NEW LEATHER IS COMING EXCLUSIVELY TO PADUA

Connolly Leather Tanners & Curriers is exclusively presenting a new product at Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2019 in Padua:  P A R K S I D E ™.  The idea of developing a new product is born to satisfy the need for a Connolly-branded leather which meets the needs of the modern world.  Giuseppe Lucente, Italian Partner of the British company, says "this product is in line with our brand and expands our range, offering the quality and traditional smell of Connolly leathers. It also features some additional technical specifications to improve durability and fire resistance which allow for it to be used even in contract spaces, public spaces and civil aviation, which of course are deeply and highly regulated".

The new P A R K S I D E ™ product, however, still adopts the company's hand-crafted approach and uses organic and ecological substances.

Connolly Leather Tanners & Curriers is one of the most important companies in the production of refined leather for vintage cars. The company's story started a long time ago. Connolly's most famous product, Vaumol™, was commissioned by the English army after the First World War to provide water and weather-resistant footwear. The quality of the production led to it being adopted in other fields, such as interior spaces, carriages and, subsequently, cars. Connolly fitted the leather inside the British parliament and the interior coachwork of prestigious cars which indicated the colour codes of the leather used on chairs and interiors in the vehicle registration certificate. The company archive, unique in its kind, is where the samples of over 140 years of manufacturing are kept. Restorers from all over the world and ACI Storico associates have access to it thanks to the partnership established in 2018.
