The story of a rebirth

A compact, comfortable car with clean lines and no sharp edges or protrusions: this car with a Z on its bonnet was a Zagato, a Fiat Topolino Panoramica purchased in 1949 and subsequently left in a barn for years due to a problem which, in those days, was hard to solve. This vehicle, with its soft shapes, its small, unique engine and red arrow under the writing 'Siata', remained there, unmoved and almost forgotten, but ready to be given a new lease of life.

In 2008, its rebirth finally took place with a restoration which lasted over two years: the car was stripped of every part, and the framework was detached from the entire, single block of car body made of aluminium. The car's upholstery has been redone to perfection and the engine block has been completely opened and dismantled into smaller pieces, and has received a complete inspection, clean and polish.

Now this splendid model is coming to Padua, ready to be showcased to the masses in all its glory.
