It is the first high performance hybrid supercar mass-produced by McLaren.

A next-generation supercar that combines revolutionary technology - the first model featuring the new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) - with McLaren's dedication to pure driver involvement. At the heart of Artura is McLaren's all-new 2993cc twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine. With power of 585 HP - almost 200 HP per litre - and 585 Nm of torque, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, 8.3 seconds to reach 200km/h and a top speed of 330km/h.  Despite the hybrid technology, the Altura has a kerb weight of 1,498 kg.

The low front position, forward-shifted cab and high tail are pure supercar themes, the distinctive feature underlined by the typical McLaren dihedral doors - which open closer to the body and accommodate mirrors that fold more tightly - and further enhanced by the short wheelbase and low position.

The agile and technical sculpture has only minimal body lines and panel joints, assisted by features like an entire rear shell designed and superformed into a single panel. The Artura is aerodynamically sculpted to maximize performance and aid cooling while adhering to the McLaren design principle of "all for a reason".

The driver can choose from four Powertrain modes, including an E mode for 31km (19 miles) of driving exclusively in emission-free electric mode.
