The Bologna Auto e Moto d'Epoca Exhibition, scheduled from 24th to 27th October, offers the opportunity to look back and retrace the history of Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The 2024 edition features the 'discoveries' of the Stuttgart based automaker with the exhibition of three milestones of this fascinating body type:
• 300 SL Roadster (Series 198) representing the Fifties and Sixties
• 220 SE Convertible (Series 111) symbolising the Sixties and Seventies
• E 320 Convertible (Series 124) which instead testifies to the Eighties and Nineties.
Three iconic models entrust their legacy to the new CLE Cabrio, which takes centre stage in the Mercedes-Benz Italia exhibition space, created in partnership with the Mercedes-Benz Italian Register. The Bologna event will also be an opportunity to pay tribute to Bruno Sacco, who recently passed away after leaving his mark on some of the most iconic models of the brand.
Once again, Europe's largest classic car exhibition provides a stage to tell the story of how the innovation championed by modern Mercedes-Benz cars continues to be rooted in the company's rich heritage.
