Many ASI clubs are attending Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2020, 14 to be precise, and there is a special guest attending in honour of Giovanni Savonuzzi.

It is worth mentioning that the ASI clubs of North East Italy (ACN) will be gathering on this occasion in one huge stand under the aegis of ASI in pavilion 1, with almost 1000 m2's worth of exhibition space.

Officina Ferrarese is part of ACN and is a historic presence at Padua fair; this year, it will showcase high-value content, not only in terms of cars. The theme of the exhibition is Cisitalia and three cars will be showcased: a roaring D46, a single-seater open wheeler designed in collaboration with Dante Giacosa, and two prestigious 202 - a coupé and a cabriolet.

All three cars have been designed by Ferrara-native Giovanni Savonuzzi, the historic car designer and technical manager of the brand established by Piero Dusio.  Thanks to the Cisitalia 202, Savonuzzi - who also worked alongside specialists of the calibre of Piero Taruffi, Ferry Porsche, Tazio Nuvolari, Rudolf Jruska and Carlo Abarth - entered the Olympus of the great car designers.

The vehicle's perfect lines also led to the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York opening its door for this car.

And at AME this year, thanks to Riccardo Zavatti, President of Officina Ferrarese there will be a special guest attending in Savonuzzi's honour: Alberta Savonuzzi, the daughter of the legendary engineer. She has been living in the US but maintains strong ties to her Ferrara origins.

See you in Pavilion 1!
