Boasting over 7,000 cars and motorcycles, 6 exhibition halls, 4 outdoor areas and 125,000 m2 of exhibition space, Auto e Moto d’Epoca is Europe's premier classic automotive marketplace, offering an unparalleled collection of historic vehicles.
Among the previews of this year:
- In Exhibition Hall 26, in the booth belonging to Auto Classic, the Italian benchmark for classic car collectors, we will see the one-of-a-kind prototype of the Lancia Aurelia B20 by Ghia previously owned by Count Aymo Maggi, founder of the 1000 Miglia. One of only two ever built by Ghia, this landmark car comes with a documented history proving its status as a Lancia Aurelia B20 prototype. What’s more, a highlight of the event will be a rare Nardi sports car with a BMW engine that was once owned by Emilio "Lio" Giletti, who later raced on Maserati alongside Juan Manuel Fangio. This Nardi 750 Sport boasts a stellar racing history, including a class win at the historic 1951 Susa-Moncenisio, the world’s oldest race. A fully restored, 1000 Miglia-eligible gem, this rare car features all its original mechanical components.
- Pistoia's Civico 5 Restauri is returning to Exhibition Hall 26 with another unmissable event, showcasing their expertise in restoring Porsche classics. The Exhibition kicks off with the delivery on opening day of a one-of-a-kind Porsche 911 Targa. This vehicle, in addition to being finished in the rare Metallic Green exterior, features a matching green leather interior, a 1976 factory option requested by the original owner, so rare that even Porsche, consulted via certificate, has confirmed having never seen anything like it. Crowned with 10 months of meticulous restoration, this stunning car will finally be handed over to its owner at the Bologna Exhibition.
- But that’s not all. Among the highlights at the 45GARAGE SAS booth is a rare 1973 Ferrari 246 Dino GTS. Having passed through the hands of just two owners since new, this exceptionally rare white example is the only one of its kind ever sold in Italy.
- Daniele Turrisi is set to thrill visitors to his booth with a Formula 1 Copersucar Fittipaldi F6, a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona' Gr. IV Conversion, and a classic 1954 Porsche 356 Speedster.
- Promotor Classic is thrilled to announce that a prestigious De Dion Bouton AV Tonneau, with a validated ASI Golden Plate, will join this year's exhibition. Not only is this car eligible for the renowned London-Brighton run, but it can also grace the starting line of the world's most prestigious classic car events.
