Extreme sporting prowess with the Bizzarrini 5300 GT, the Rally Raid  MacMoter RR340 prototype and the Ritmo which beat the Stratos.  For the Italian group Promotor Classic, Padua is the place to share a passion for driving.

Bizzarini 5300 GT and the MacMoter Prototype: this is how the  Promotor Group has chosen to introduce itself in Padua, showcasing two pillars of sports car racing. The first is the Bizzarrini 5300 GT, the brainchild of Giotto Bizzarrini who in 1964 channelled all his experience at Ferrari, Lamborghini and Iso Rivolta into creating his dream Gran Turismo. The car exhibited in Padua is the one used in Goodwood, Nurburing and Monza by Anthony Reid with the Number 1.

The Dakar MacMoter prototype is a tubular motorised Mercedes Benz V8 5l, designed in the 90s to compete in the Tout Terrain Italian Championship and the Bajas Endurance European Championship. It is the creation of a hard-working enthusiast who loved participating in big rallies as a private driver; only 4 of these models were built.  The car showcased in Padua ran the Paris-Dakar in 2007 with Tempestini at the wheel.

But there won't only be cars on sale. For Promotor Group, Padua is also a hub in which to celebrate passion. This is why at the stand there will also be a "family" car: the 1978 Ritmo 60 which beat the Stratos in the last Rally Historique Montecarlo 2018, piloted by Alex De Angelis, former rallying champion and now CEO of the company.
