The "6C 1750 SS" Grand Prix version of the Spider Zagato 1929, type-approved by the Italian Alfa Romeo Register, is coming to Padua 2019.  At the stand, there will also be a 1984 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2.0 Turbodelta.

Amongst the many "gems" on show this year, there's a prestigious model with a great racing legacy coming to Auto e Moto d'Epoca. It is an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Spider Zagato 1929 (Gran Prix version) brought to the event by the Italian Alfa Romeo Register. This very model  just won the 1st of Real Alfa Preservation and Restoration Competition in Arese which took place in June 2019.

This car came first in the Belgian GP on 19th May 1929 with racer Goffredo Zehender at the wheel (his average speed was 108 km/h); it came third on 6th July 1929 in the Spa 24 Hours and first on 28th July 1929 in the San Sebastian 12 Hours, once again with Goffredo Zehender at the wheel flanked by the great Varzi.  It came first on 15th September 1929 in the Circuit des Routes Pavees 6 Hours race and third overall in 1930 at the Spa 24 Hours, the final competition it took part in.

At the RIAR stand, you will also find a rare 1984 Turbodelta Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2.0, of which only 361 models have been produced, and which similarly to the 6C has been RIAR type-approved. This model won the Eng. Carlo Chiti 2nd Trophy on the Varano de' Melegari circuit ("Roadster" category), and    pays homage to the Autodelta (Alfa Romeo's competition department) whose name it proudly bears.
