A Maserati 26B, part of the National Car Museum collection, will be on show at the stand put together by Auto e Moto d'Epoca − the classic car exhibition which brings European enthusiasts and dealers together in Bologna, from 26th to 29th October 2023.

The organisation team is working at full speed for Auto e Moto d'Epoca. The classic car and motorcycle exhibitions is celebrating two important milestones  this year: its 40th anniversary and its first edition in its new home, the city of Bologna, from 26th to 29th October 2023.

Auto e Moto d'Epoca's roadmap is also underway in the lead up to Bologna, as it heads around the continent taking part in Europe's most important exhibitions. After attending the Classic Car Show in Maastricht in January, it's time to head to Paris to partake in the prestigious Rètromobile Show, an international event for enthusiasts from 1st to 5th February 2023. Auto e Moto d'Epoca will be there at stand B007 in Pavilion 2.

Acting as ambassador of Italian heritage culture in Paris is a 1928 Maserati 26B, a jewel from MAUTO (the National Car Museum) in Turin.  Model 26 was Maserati's first car; it was immediately successful as it won first place at the 1926 Targa Florio in the 1500 cc category. In the following year, its evolution made its debut the 26B with an inline-eight engine; Alfieri Maserati won third place at the 1927 Targa Florio with this model. In 1928, the car went on to win the prestigious Marche Italian Championship. According to the Maserati brothers, it is the "first car built in our garages", and it is one of the first cars to enter the MAUTO collection.

"The culture of Italian historic cars is widely appreciated in Europe both for the quality of the conservation and for Italys widespread passion for motors  says the organiser of Auto e Moto d'Epoca, Mario Carlo Baccaglini. This year, we can count on an additional incentive to increase the number of participants from abroad: the new venue, BolognaFiere, located in the heart of the Motor Valley, offers many more services, spaces and ease of access, to both visitors and exhibitors. As displayed by the 400 exhibitors who have taken part in the Bologna Open Day, interest is very high".

In addition to 235,000 square metres of exhibition space (double 2022), 14,500 parking spaces and the convenient airport and motorway connections, the 2023 edition of Auto e Moto d'Epoca already offers one new addition: Alessandro Altinier is entering the organisation team as the new motorbike manager, a branch which will be given a great deal of attention in Bologna to spread the culture of classic motorbikes even further.
