From the 1946 Cisitalia to the Abarths of the 1980s: five rare cars that celebrate the passion for racing.
The Registro Fiat Italiano booth at Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025 will be a journey through the single-seaters that have marked forty years of racing history.
The journey begins with the Cisitalia D-46 from 1946, followed by the D-46/48, formerly driven by Bonetto, who was the Italian Formula 2 Champion in 1948. The exhibit continues with the Formula Junior Stanguellini, created by the Modena-based manufacturer to train young racing drivers. On display will be the “Delfino”, the last evolution of the Junior, which is now preserved at the Stanguellini Museum. The review concludes with the 1970 Formula Italia, featuring a tubular chassis and a 5-speed + reverse transmission, and the 1980 Formula Abarth with a monocoque chassis.
The five cars, some from museums and others from private collections, all share a common thread: their engines are derived from Fiat. This is an opportunity to retrace 40 years of racing and discover the racing soul that has made Italy a global leader.
