Kimi Räikkönen’s Championship winning Ferrari F2007 in Bologna to Celebrate 75 Years of F1

At the exhibition “75:1 – 75 years, one seat,” the F2007 from the Nationales Automuseum – Loh Collection is also on display, the last Ferrari to win the Formula 1 Drivers’ World Championship.

“75:1 – 75 years, one seat”, the exhibition tracing the technical, sporting, and cultural evolution of Formula 1, scheduled for Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025 to celebrate 75 years of the top motorsport competition, also features Kimi Räikkönen’s Ferrari F2007 from the Nationales Automuseum – Loh Collection in Germany. This car, chassis number 262, represents the first Ferrari of the post-Schumacher era and, at the same time, the last single-seater to bring the Drivers’ World Championship back to Maranello. The car on display is the exact car in which Kimi won the final race of the season in Brazil and secured the Championship.

The development of the F2007 focused on safety and aerodynamics: the reinforced monocoque made the car approximately 10 kg heavier than its predecessor; the longer wheelbase, slimmer rear end, and numerous airflow deflectors improved its efficiency. The car was also fitted with different wing configurations depending on the circuit and housed a naturally aspirated V8 engine producing around 750 hp, capable of exceeding 350 km/h.

Competitive from the start, the F2007 allowed Kimi Räikkönen to achieve six victories and 12 podiums in the 2007 season, securing the Drivers’ World Championship and bringing the Constructors’ Championship back to Maranello as well. The car on display contributed five of the six victories of the 2007 season.
